Trash & Record Recovery
Accidents happen. Learn how MasjidFlow protects your data with a built-in Trash system that allows you to recover deleted records easily.
1How Deletion Works
When you delete a donation, expense, or muqtadi, it isn't immediately removed from our database. Instead, it is moved to the Trash.
- Deleted records stop appearing in your active lists and reports.
- They remain in the Trash for 30 days.
- Only administrators can access the Trash and restore records.
2Restoring a Record
To bring back a deleted item, navigate to Maintenance > Trash. Find the item you need and click the "Restore" button.
"Restored items will return to their original place with all their history intact."
3Data Safety & Audit Logs
MasjidFlow maintains an internal audit log of who deleted what and when. This ensures accountability within your mosque management team.
Best Practices
- •Only delete records that are genuine errors or duplicates.
- •Review the Trash once a month to ensure no important data was accidentally removed.
- •If you're unsure about a deletion, ask a senior admin first.
Troubleshooting
I can't find an item in the Trash.
If more than 30 days have passed, the item may have been permanently purged. Contact support to see if recovery from a backup is possible.
Can I permanently delete something immediately?
Yes, inside the Trash folder, you can select "Delete Permanently". Please note that this action is irreversible.
